I have started my Bug Bounty journey in 2024 on HackerOne and Bugcrowd. Before getting into bug bounty, I learnt web application vulnerabilities at advanced level from a well known resource “PortSwigger”. In the end of 2023, I received an invitation of a private bug bounty program which inspired me to put my efforts to improve my skills and find vulnerabilities in their web application. After continuous dedication and hunting, I got the first bug with a severity level of 6.5.
Continuous Development and Learning
I am committed to continuous learning and improve my skills every week. To achieve this, I remain active on multiple cyber security training platforms such as TryHackMe, HackTheBox, CyberDefenders, PicoCTF, VulnHub, Port Swigger and more. These platforms allow me to gain practical experience to understand cyber security from a real world perspective.
When learn something and make notes of it or document the important or new things you have learnt, It improves the learning curve and you remember things for longer. Therefore, I make notes in detail for what I learned. I also do write-ups for cyber investigations and hacking processes, to remind things faster.
